Frequently asked questions
Can I schedule my next chess match or log it after playing?
Both. Log a finished game or schedule your next match. Planning alone does not affect your rating; the completed result must be confirmed first.
Does each chess format have its own rating?
Yes. Bullet, Blitz, Rapid and Classical each have their own Elo-X rating. Group results count towards global Elo-X ratings only when Count as Official is enabled. Global leaderboards appear once the format has enough players.
Can I record draws and playing colors?
Yes. Select White or Black and record a win, loss or draw when logging your game.
Is my Elo-X rating the same as a FIDE rating?
No. Elo-X ratings are independent of official FIDE ratings. Logging games in Elo-X does not create or update a FIDE rating.
Can I organize a chess tournament in Elo-X?
Yes. Use Swiss, round robin, group stages or knockout, and combine formats in stages. Explore chess tournaments for friends or your club.
