Frequently asked questions
Do we need a group to create a tournament?
For this padel setup, start from a custom team group configured for 2v2, then create the event for fixed pairs.
Can we rotate partners during the tournament?
Keep each entered pair together once the event starts. For casual matches with changing partners, use your ongoing padel group instead.
Can we combine pools with knockout?
Yes. For example, send the top two entrants from each of two pools into semifinals and a final. Agree qualification and tie-break rules before play. Compare tournament formats →
Is this an Americano or Mexicano tournament?
No. These formats keep each pair together throughout the event. For changing partners between casual matches, use your padel group.
Do all players need an Elo-X account?
Yes. Participating players join with their own accounts. See Padel results and ratings for activity information, or the group setup guide to bring your regular players together first.
