Frequently asked questions
Can I schedule a table tennis match or just log it afterward?
Both. Plan your next match or log a finished result. Your rating changes only after the completed result is confirmed.
Should I log each game or the whole match?
Agree before playing. For a best-of-five match, log the match once and, with score tracking enabled, add the points for each game within that result. Avoid logging both the overall match and its individual games as separate rated results.
Can I track Doubles as well as Singles?
Standard global Table Tennis ratings currently cover Singles. For Doubles, create a custom team group with your own competition settings; those results stay within the group.
Do group results count towards global rankings?
Confirmed standard Singles group matches count when Count as Official is enabled for newly created matches. Global lists appear when there are enough players to display. See table tennis groups for your own leaderboard.
Can I organize a table tennis tournament?
Yes. Run an event for colleagues, club members or friends, with one format or stages such as pools followed by knockout. Explore table tennis tournaments →
