Find your disc golf course. Add it if it’s missing.
Search for the course, set the hole layout and get ready to record your throws. Follow the actual course setup in Elo-X.
Start from your next round.
Open Actions → Log Result. For a standard activity, use the top-right menu to choose Official, then select Disc golf → Standard. If you are already logging from an existing disc golf group, keep that group selected.
Choose one player for unrated solo practice, or two to sixteen individual players for a competitive result. Open Choose course before creating the round.
1. Search before adding a course.
Search by the course name or address. Open a matching result and check its name, location and hole layout before selecting it. If appropriate, nearby search is another way to find the course.
In this local example we search for Fjord Park - Demo, a fictional course. The app returns No courses found. Try a shorter name or another spelling before adding a new entry.
If there is still no match, choose Create course under the empty result. A failed location search or a loading error is a reason to retry, not proof that a course is missing.
2. Fill in Course setup.
The name you searched for carries over into Course setup. Give the course a clear, recognizable name. The icon is optional; the activity icon is a useful starting point.
Open the location row, check the selected country and search for the correct place or address. Select the matching location before saving. Check the location carefully so players can distinguish courses with similar names.
The image shows the start of this form, before a location is selected. Create course becomes available when the required fields are complete.
3. Set the holes and par.
Open the Holes row. Set Number of holes to match the complete layout you will play.
Turn on Use par if you know the correct par for every hole. All holes start at 3; adjust each one with − and +. If par is unknown, leave Use par off instead of guessing.
Choose Done to apply the hole layout and return to Course setup. A round uses the whole selected course version, in hole order.
4. Choose visibility and save.
Review the name, location and holes. Keep Public approval on if you want to submit the course for review when you save; turn it off to keep the course private. Read the information button before submitting: the app explains that, once approved, all saved versions are public.
When the required details are complete, choose Create course and confirm submission if prompted. Sending a course for review does not make it public immediately: it stays private until approved. Players added to your round, or joining through its link or QR code, get access to the private course. This access is separate from public approval.
If you update a course that has already been used, the app retains the earlier version for past results. Check the current layout before starting a new round.
Select the saved course and play.
Return to the round setup, select the saved course and check the players. Enter each player’s throws for every hole, including any agreed penalties. The lowest complete throw total wins.
Solo is always unrated. A solo round without a group is private; completed solo results linked to a group are visible to its current members. For multiplayer play, finish every player’s scorecard and send it for the other players to review.

Common questions
Does no search result mean the course has never been added?
No. It means the current query found no matching course you can access. Check spelling, try part of the name or address, and look through the results before creating a duplicate.
Do I have to submit my course for public approval?
No. Turn Public approval off to keep it private. If you submit it, it stays private until approved; submission is not immediate publication.
Can I start with solo practice?
Yes. Solo play is unrated. Ungrouped solo rounds are private; completed group-linked solo results are visible to the group’s current members.
